Nicole

Nicole* was exhausted. She seemed to have it all together – a steady job, supportive friends, and a smile that convinced everyone she was “fine.” But when she was alone, things were different. That’s when the memories returned. A sudden noise or smell could take her back to places she never wanted to revisit. She tried to stay busy, but the burden of holding it all in weighed heavily on her body and spirit.

Adam* felt invisible. In conversations with his partner, he often felt frustrated and unheard. At work, he resented colleagues who never seemed to respect his boundaries. Even with friends, he sometimes felt unseen, misunderstood, and unsure how to express himself without conflict. He wanted so badly to connect and be valued, but endless cycles of miscommunication left him drained and defeated.

Anita*

Anita* was reeling. She saw her entire world shift overnight with her cancer diagnosis. Suddenly, her calendar was filled with treatments, appointments, and reminders of an uncertain future. She struggled with fatigue, fear, and the quiet desperation of feeling like no one really understood what she was going through. Even surrounded by loved ones, she often felt painfully alone. She didn’t know where to turn.

Alex* had trouble keeping up. As a college sophomore, he felt like life was one long checklist of grades, deadlines, social pressures, and family expectations. He scrolled social media and compared himself to everyone who seemed to be “doing better” than he was. Inside, he carried the crushing weight of anxiety, self-doubt, and exhaustion. He wondered if he was the only one having such a hard time.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

Healing doesn’t mean becoming someone different. It means reclaiming the parts of yourself that have always been strong, brave, and worthy of love.

If you’re ready for something real – not perfect, but hopeful –
I’d be honored to walk this path with you. Reach out today.

Hi, I’m Kandi.

I know starting therapy can feel scary, but the fact that you’re here, reading this, tells me you’re already braver than you realize.

I work with people who’ve been through some of life’s hardest battles – survivors of trauma, students under pressure, relationships battling disconnection, and those facing illnesses that shake life to its core.

Therapy is a partnership. I’m not above you or ahead of you; I’m beside you. You need someone who gets it to sit with you in the hard stuff and help you laugh, breathe, and maybe even dream again.

I’ll listen to the things you can barely say out loud and remind you of the strength you already carry. Together, we’ll sort through the mess, find what helps, and start creating a life that doesn’t feel so heavy.

So, if you’re ready – not for something perfect, but for something real – I would like to join you on this path.

Nicole and I began working together to identify how trauma was affecting her mind and body. Slowly, she found ways to feel safer in her own skin, reclaim her breath when panic hit, and trust herself again. Now, what once felt unbearable has become something she can face with compassion and strength.

Adam felt lost when he called me. Together, we explored the roots of unhelpful patterns and practiced new ways of communicating with clarity and confidence. He learned to listen, be heard, and set boundaries without guilt. Now, relationships that were once battles feel like opportunities to connect.

Anita was relieved to find a space in therapy where her worries, sadness, and anger could exist without judgment. She learned to give herself permission to process the grief of “before and after.” Now, she has discovered resilience and a renewed sense of hope, even in the middle of so much uncertainty.

Alex needed a chance to slow down and be honest about how hard things really felt. In therapy, we worked on practical tools to manage his anxiety, rebuild confidence, and create balance. Now, for the first time in a long while, Alex feels like he can breathe, and maybe even look forward to tomorrow.
